Making Contact
Use common sense. Be aware there are nasty people out there who would use my and your trust for profit, amusement, or for worse. Don't hand out personal information. Don't agree to meet in places outside of the public eye. If necessary find a police station or public government building to meet, if you must. Above all please don't get yourself into a situation where a nasty individual might want to take advantage of your lost and found attempt. No one wants that.
Why this method?
In the future I will have a database where visitors can post a found item immediately without my intervention. I really don't want to be involved with anything, so I'm working hard to find a cost effective way to eliminate the need for me to receive emails and photos and manually post them in the right Tampa Lost and Found category.
